The Bible has a lot to say about sharing. It could even be said that sharing is foundational to our faith! Through Christ, God shared with us the glorious message of peace with God through faith in the Son�s atoning work on the cross. Jesus came at the bidding of the Father, sharing in our humanity that He might reveal God to a lost world.

Throughout Scripture, God teaches us about sharing.

• In worship (Luke 22.17)
• In the sufferings of Christ (1 Peter 4.13)
• In the holiness of Christ (Hebrews 12.10)
• In the rewards of Christ (2 Timothy 2.6; Colossians 1.12)
• In each other�s afflictions (Philippians 4.14)
• In each other�s joy (Philippians 2.17-18)
• In meeting each other�s needs (Luke 3.11; 1 Timothy 6.18)
• In sharing the good news of the gospel (Romans 10.14-17)

Why share? Because God has made us to be Christ�s ambassadors! By sharing, God makes His appeal through us. We also provide a visible expression of the love of Christ by operating in His Body, the Church, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
